Mommy and Me Store was birth out of a conversation I had with my eleven-year-old daughter. She wanted to know, how old she had to be to get a job. I replied by saying: “You can work at any age”. That was the entire conversation and that was the spark that got me to thinking, “She is thinking about earning money and now is the time to introduce entrepreneurship”. When I told her my idea of her and I starting a business together, she was a little perplexed and optimistic. That conversation struck me as a teachable moment that will benefit her for the rest of her life.
